Inter star Romelu Lukaku will undergo a crucial round of tests tomorrow that’ll make his availability for the fast-approaching World Cup clear.

The 29-year-old Belgian striker has hardly featured for the Nerazzurri since returning on loan from Chelsea in the summer, remaining stuck on the sidelines with a muscle injury. Lukaku has only made five appearances across all competitions this season and missed Inter’s last three games across Serie A and the Champions League.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lukaku will undergo a new round of medical tests tomorrow morning, which’ll hopefully shed light on his recovery and his time remaining on the sidelines.

Belgium coach Roberto Martinez confirmed that he’ll announce his World Cup squad tomorrow and he stated yesterday that “if he is fit to return to competition by December 1, then he will be with us. If not, he will not take part in the World Cup.”

The national team’s first game at the World Cup is against Canada on November 23 before they face Morocco on November 27. Their final group game is against Croatia on December 1.
