Luis Alberto took to Instagram in order to deny reports he has already agreed a new contract with Lazio. ‘Did someone sign in my place?! It wasn’t me…’

The creative midfielder has long been in negotiations to extend and improve the deal with his club to June 2025.

It’s reported in multiple sources that he will now earn €3m per season plus performance-related bonuses of up to another €0.5m.

However, just as it was all taken for granted, the Spaniard popped up on his Instagram Stories.
