Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto admits “I’ve had a very strange year” but “we must always look forward”.
The Spaniard hit double figures in goals and assists last season, but so far this term he’s failed to hit the same heights.
“We’ve worked hard over the last week, and with the help of our fans we’ll return to being the best Lazio,” Luis Alberto told Lazio Style Channel.
“There’s too much talk of last year and last season, we must always look forward. This squad is strong.

“I’ve had a very strange year, up to May I was feeling very good but then after the injury I’ve been bad.
“After five or six months, just when I was getting back to my best, I unfortunately got another niggle.
“Now I’m finding my best shape and I hope that as this year ends the injury will go away and I’ll be able to play at my previous levels.”
