Former Inter Coach Mircea Lucescu believes it’s ‘not a surprise’ to see Juventus in the Champions League final.

The Bianconeri will face Barcelona in the showpiece event in Berlin on June 6, and despite being outsiders at the start of the tournament, the Romanian insists he’s not shocked.

“It’s not a surprise to see Juve in the Champions League final,” Lucescu insisted in an interview with TeleRadioStereo.

“It’s not a surprise to see Juve in the Champions League final,” Lucescu insisted in an interview with TeleRadioStereo.

“The Bianconeri have grown, year after year, improving enthusiastically and consolidating results, building from the good things they have done previously.

“It will be a tough match against Barcelona, it will be [Barça Coach] Luis Enrique’s attack against [Juventus Coach Max] Allegri’s defence.

“Juve are not beaten from the start, they have a chance of winning against the Catalans, although they don’t start as favourites.”
