Parma’s 37-year-old captain has broken the silence on the meeting and spoken harshly about the situation and the parties involved in it.
“We spoke yesterday with President Manenti, who told us that the problem is just getting the money transferred into our accounts,” Lucarelli has declared to SportMediaset.
“He said the money has been paid, but we're running out of patience.
“It's time for facts. We gave a precise deadline and now we must act as a team.”
On from President of the Footballers' Union Damiano Tommasi visiting the club, the Italian Football Federation may also intervene in the situation, but Lucarelli was unimpressed by the prospect.
“Don't make me laugh! Is it only because the game against Udinese may be cancelled?
“We've passed the time limit, luckily someone seems to have woken up. When it emerged in the papers that the Udinese game was at risk, the FIGC arrive here at Collechio.
“It isn't even clear whether they care about Parma or only about the League schedule.”
