The Rossoneri are being insistently linked to La Dea’s midfielder, even though the player himself recently denied any official contact with the club.
The Orobici executive confirmed that the move is a possibility in an interview with Tuttosport, though he rebuffed the idea that the clubs are at any conclusive stage.
“The deal for Baselli to Milan is real, but it's not done yet,” Marino has explained.
“There is no certainty that it will be concluded.
“President [Antonio] Percassi and I were able to speak with [Milan Vice-President] Adriano Galliani, who showed great interest in the lad.
“Milan have a moral first option on our player, yes, but I absolutely would not say that the deal is already done.”
