Lazio President Claudio Lotito claims it is now up to Marco Parolo to decide whether or not he becomes a Biancocelesti player.

The 29-year-old is currently at Parma but, speaking to Sport Mediaset today, the Stadio Olimpico chief confirmed that an agreement between the two clubs regarding a fee for the player has been reached.

“We have reached an agreement between the clubs,” Lotito said. “Now all we need to do is wait for the player, who needs to say what he will do.

“Today, Lazio is one of the four teams in Serie A with growing profits and one which has had sporting results. It wasn’t like that when I took them and saved them from the risk of collapse.

“And I have put initiatives for change out there.”

The agreed fee for Parolo is reported as being €5.5m in addition to add-ons.
