Speaking to Goal.com following his country’s closing win over Iran, the midfielder declared his team were happy on the whole with their showing in Brazil.
“I signed for another four years with Roma, now I really want to go back there,” Pjanic said.
“The season will start soon, this season we have the Champions League and obviously the League – we will aim to finish as high as possible.
“The World Cup with Bosnia? With it being over we can say we are happy, even though it’s a strange feeling to be going home so soon. So we are not completely satisfied.
“However, the victory against Iran was very important for us and our fans.”
