Torino striker Rolando Bianchi could be playing in Serie A next season with Sicilian outfit Catania.

Bianchi is expected to leave Turin after the club failed to win promotion to the top flight following a tough campaign.

The Serie B ace has been linked with Parma and Napoli, but it seems that Catania are very interested in his services.

New Torino boss Giampiero Ventura seems to be preparing for a Bianchi exit this summer.

"Bianchi is an important player, one who averages 20 goals a season," the tactician told Radio CRC last week.

"Bianchi has consolidated himself as a player, he has his own dimension and he deserves to play in Serie A."

Bianchi, who spent a year in England with Manchester City, has grabbed 54 League goals for the club – including play-off strikes – over the last three seasons.

The 28-year-old ended the last campaign with 19 goals from 33 Serie B matches. Just three of those were penalties.
