Francesco Lodi says he’s prepared to spend the rest of his career with current club Catania.

The midfielder is having a campaign to remember and is actually the side’s top scorer thanks to his six goals in 21 League games so far.

His form has also understandably seen him attract the attention of other clubs too ahead of the summer transfer window.

“Market matters have nothing to do with me,” the 27-year-old told the Corriere dello Sport. “Catania director Pietro Lo Monaco looks after that aspect.

“However, when it was being suggested that I could move to Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”6″>Fiorentina last summer I said that I was happy here.

“If, at the time, Lo Monaco offered me a contract for life then I would have signed it. I haven’t changed my mind – it is magnificent here.”
