Sevilla striker Fernando Llorente says Juventus’ recent results ‘make me suffer’ ahead of their Champions League meeting on Wednesday.

The Bianconeri have got off to a dismal start to their Scudetto defence, picking up five points from six matches.

Llorente left the Old Lady in the summer, but could face his old club again at the midweek European clash at Juventus Stadium.

“I spent two wonderful years in Turin, a city that will always remain in my heart,” he said to Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I feel like a Juventino and these results make me suffer.

“I knew it would not be easy, as losing players like Vidal, Pirlo and Tevez is crucial. It takes time to find harmony and a style of play.

“Why did I leave? I would have had less space and then the club was not sorry I left.

“I am sure, however, that Juve will be high up the table again by the springtime, although at the moment all their worst rivals are at the top (Fiorentina, Inter and Torino).

“Emery and Italy? It’s normal that they like him, he would do very well in Serie A.”
