“Fernando is a free agent and can sign for whoever he wants,” agent and brother Jesus Llorente told Calciomercato.com.

There had been reports of Fiorentina proposing a deal for the Spain international centre-forward.

“Fiorentina are certainly a possibility for Fernando and they did show interest, but other Serie A sides have also made an approach, including Lazio, Atalanta and Inter.

“We are glad to see he is still appreciated in Italy.”
