Fabio Liverani says Parma didn’t feel sorry for themselves after seven confirmed cases of Covid-19: ‘I am proud to coach this team.’
"I am lucky enough to coach a strong group. There are many new players who have arrived of late,” Liverani told Sky Sport after the game.
“We’ve had Covid cases, injured players during the International break, others who arrived on Friday. If you put all together, we had a great game overall.
“We conceded the 3-2 in a counterattack, this is the spirit of the team.

"It is normal that there are difficulties. There was no preseason, a new coach, a new Director of sport, Covid cases, National teams.
“I am proud to coach this group. We have never been sorry for ourselves, we adapt to situations.
“Everyone can be a starter and the players proved it today. We will raise the level, there is great rivalry during the week".
The second goal allowed by Parma came from a mistake of Jasmin Kurtic who accidentally pass the ball to Udinese strikers close to the area of the Ducali.
"I didn’t say anything to him. Kurtic let me win last week, he’s a great International player, the fault is mine because it is me who asks for this."
Liverani believes Parma have a great future ahead.
“They must continue to play like this because they have the quality to do it".
