Pol Lirola has warned Napoli that Sassuolo will be out to ‘surprise’ them when the two sides meet on Saturday.
Sassuolo kicked off their preparations for the visit of Napoli with a 3-0 win against lower-League Bassano on Saturday, and Lirola feels the Neroverdi have what it takes to disrupt the southerners’ Scudetto tilt.
“The friendly against Bassano was a good test for our Napoli preparation, also because they play in a 4-3-3 like Napoli do,” the former Juventus full-back told his club’s official website.

“We started strongly, scoring two goals in the first half. We changed formation during the game, even switching to a 3-5-2, so that we’d be ready to surprise Napoli.
“An important week awaits us, starting against Sarri’s team. They have a lot of quality, but we drew both at home and away last season. Who says we can’t repeat that?”
