“Milan are set to release a statement on this,” Davide Lippi told Sky Sport Italia television.
“Guangzhou Evergrande are an important figure on the Chinese stage and Milan want to collaborate with them.
“The President of the Chinese club will tour Europe starting from December and I will certainly accompany him in Italy.
“Initially it will be a meeting and a commercial rapport, but we cannot know what could happen in future.”
There are reports the deal could include investment in Milan with Marcello Lippi returning to Italy as technical director.
“It is not a visit linked in with the transfer market, but simply to understand how we can outline the collaboration. There will certainly be a meeting with Adriano Galliani, plus visits to Milanello and San Siro.”
