Marcello Lippi will reportedly become the world’s highest-paid Coach after agreeing a return to Guangzhou Evergrande.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Lippi will sign a three-year contract with Guangzhou, worth €20m net per season and almost €3m more than current top earner Pep Guardiola.
The former Juventus and Italy boss won three consecutive Chinese Super League titles with the side between 2012 and 2014 and became the first Coach in history to win both the UEFA Champions League and AFC Champions League in 2013.
