The Granata had an unexpected change of management on Thursday, as the 2-0 Coppa Italia Quarter-Final defeat to Juventus proved the final straw for President Urbano Cairo, who sacked Sinisa Mihajlovic.

Former Napoli, Inter and Watford boss Mazzarri was drafted in and makes his debut just 48 hours after his appointment.

He inherits the same injury crisis that befell Mihajlovic, so is missing Andrea Belotti, Simone Edera, Antonio Barreca, Cristian Ansaldi and Lyanco.

Adem Ljajic is back in the squad, albeit not 100 per cent fit, so Alex Berenguer and Iago Falque support M’Baye Niang.

Bologna have more than a few issues to deal with too, as they managed one win in the last five rounds, losing three of them.

Adam Masina is suspended with Domenico Maietta injured, but Roberto Donadoni tries a 4-2-3-1 formation that can use Simone Verdi – a hot transfer target for Napoli – Rodrigo Palacio, Federico Di Francesco and Mattia Destro together.

Bologna have won only one of the last 11 trips to Turin between Serie A and B, drawing four.
