Stefano Pioli seems to have found the Rossoneri’s identity since Ibrahimovic’s injury and the lockdown, moving Rebic into a centre-forward role supported by a trio of attacking figures.

There were reports that Rafael Leao, Rade Krunic and Alexis Saelemaekers would start, but the only changes are Paqueta in for Giacomo Bonaventura, Davide Calabria and Matteo Gabbia in defence.

Ibrahimovic is on the bench, so could make his first appearance for the club since the lockdown, as he suffered a calf strain in training.

SPAL are bottom of the table alongside Brescia and bringing in coach Gigi Di Biagio has not helped their situation.

Dias Felipe is suspended in defence, Etrit Berisha, Ervin Zukanovic and Federico Di Francesco injured, while top scorer and ex-Milan man Andrea Petagna partners Sergio Floccari.

SPAL have lost each of their last eight Serie A meetings with Milan.

SPAL: Letica; Sala, Vicari, Bonifazi, Tomovic; D’Alessandro, Valdifiori, Dabo, Valoti; Petagna, Floccari

Milan: G Donnarumma; Calabria, Gabbia, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Castillejo, Paqueta, Calhanoglu; Rebic
