The Partenopei are the only Serie A side still unbeaten this season and their confidence was further boosted by Wednesday’s 4-2 Champions League victory over Benfica.

Arkadiusz Milik has done a fine job of replacing Gonzalo Higuain and already bagged three braces in all competition.

He is supported by Insigne and Jose Callejon, the latter receiving his first international call-up for Spain in two years.

Zielinski steps into midfield and Nikola Maksimovic gets his first start for Napoli, as Raul Albiol, Vlad Chiriches and Omar El Kaddouri are injured.

Atalanta have struggled so far under Coach Gian Piero Gasperini, but got back on track with Monday’s victory over Crotone to break away from the drop zone.

Franck Kessié, nicknamed the New Yaya Toure, was sent off in that game and is therefore suspended.

Mauricio Pinilla, Abdoulay Konko and Leonardo Spinazzola also miss out through injury.

Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gomez will aim to use his blistering pace and dribbling skills to trouble the Napoli back four, but Atalanta have made some very surprising changes.

Etrit Berisha gets the nod rather than Marco Sportiello in goal, while there are shock starts for Mattia Caldara, Roberto Gagliardini and ex-Milan striker Andrea Petagna.

Alberto Grassi is particularly motivated for this match, as Napoli signed him in January for €8m, he immediately got injured and failed to get any playing time, so was sent back to Atalanta on loan.

Napoli won here 3-1 last season, but it was only their second Serie A victory here in 11 attempts.

Atalanta: Berisha; Masiello, Toloi, Caldara; Conti, Kurtic, Freuler, Gagliardini, Drame; Gomez, Petagna

Napoli: Reina; Hysaj, Maksimovic, Koulibaly, Ghoulam; Zielinski, Jorginho, Hamsik; Callejon, Milik, L Insigne
