Juventus right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner is reportedly ‘very close’ to joining Borussia Dortmund.

According to Calciomercato.com, there is ‘great optimism’ on Dortmund’s part that a deal will be done, the Swiss’ agent-brother having given his approval to the switch.

The website explains both parties have been in contact for ‘the last two weeks’, while BVB’s interest stems from two summers ago.
