Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has rejected speculation that he could be heading back to Italy in the summer.

A report in France on Thursday claimed that the Brazilian was eyeing a return to the peninsula, possibly for a job with Inter.

“I’m happy wherever I find myself,” the former Milan player and tactician told RMC. “I’ve never left a country for personal reasons.

“I decided to take up this challenge in Paris and I would like that to continue,” added the PSG official.

“Inter? I am in touch with a lot of clubs, especially those with which I have worked for in the past.

“I have an excellent relationship with President Massimo Moratti, but I haven’t spoken about a return to the Nerazzurri.”

Leonardo left Inter in the summer after deciding that he no longer wanted to Coach the Beneamata. He was handed the job in December 2010 after Rafael Benitez was dismissed.

Respected football agent Dario Canovi has also rubbished the claims that the South American is looking for another move.

“I don’t think he wants to leave Paris SG,” he stated. “I spoke to him the other day and he didn’t give me the impression that he wanted out of the club. Leonardo, in my opinion, will stay.”
