Former Inter Coach Leonardo is officially appointed by Paris Saint-Germain as “an English-style general manager.”
The French club announced the news this afternoon with a statement, which also confirmed President Robin Leproux has left his job.
“I was truly happy at Inter and never thought I would leave the club this summer,” declared the Brazilian.

“I was truly happy at Inter and never thought I would leave the club this summer,” declared the Brazilian.
“I had an excellent rapport with the club and players. Leaving Italy was by no means easy for me.”
It was widely reported Leonardo refused to take this position unless he had full power over transfer policy and the running of the club.
This is why the statement notes Leo is “an English-style general manager,” following on from the Premier League approach.
However, some newspapers in France suggest Leonardo's job will be even more far-reaching than that.
It's claimed he could be a tactician as well as general manager, more in the style of Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.
“I will not be the tactician, but purely a director of sport,” assured Leonardo.
“I am very happy, as I always thought that one day I would return to Paris. It wasn't easy for me to leave the country where I grew up, but PSG are a great club.”
