According to Sky Sport Italia, the defender is prepared to accept a 50 per cent reduction to his €400,000 salary for a new one-year deal.

However, the 36-year-old would then want to become the Coach of the club’s Primavera outfit from the summer of 2014.

Legrottaglie, two goals in 22 League games this term, has also been linked with a possible move to Australia.
