There is good news for Milan, as Rafael Leao has recovered from COVID-19 and returned to training today.

The Portuguese forward had not taken part in pre-season training at all after contracting coronavirus during the brief summer vacation.

After almost a month, Leao is now back in training and confirmed it himself with an Instagram picture of the Milanello locker room.

However, as he has not trained yet this season, Leao will take a while to get into shape.

He won’t be taking part in tonight’s Serie A opener with Bologna, nor the upcoming Europa League preliminary round tie with Norwegians Bodo/Glimt.

Also missing tonight are Alessio Romagnoli, Daniele Conti and Mateo Musacchio.
