Torino never showed up for the match against Lazio, scheduled for March 2, as the local health authorities blocked the team from travelling to the Italian capital due to an outbreak of coronavirus.

The Granata already had a game against Sassuolo postponed the Friday before but the COVID-19 cases prevented them from exiting the quarantine, despite having already used their ‘one free pass’ to call off a game.

The Sporting Judge found that the cause of force majeure existed in favour of Torino and Lazio will not be given a 3-0 win by default.

Serie A will now, unless the Biancocelesti appeal, study the calendar to find a new date for the match to be played.
