He was the captain when the Biancocelesti beat Roma to win the trophy on May 26 2013.
It was also Mauri’s last game before his ban amid a betting scandal and that expired this week, so he is available for selection again.
According to Eurosport Italia, Lazio are planning to commemorate the Final and Mauri’s return by having him parade the Coppa Italia trophy around the Stadio Olimpico pitch before kick-off.
