Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta is reportedly keeping tabs on the 19-year-old who has debuted in the Premier League and the Champions League during his three years at Stamford Bridge.

Lazio are keen to focus on young talent and have already made inquiries about the possibility of taking their former academy starlet Federico Macheda back on loan from Manchester United.

Borini's height and the goalscoring prowess he has shown in the Chelsea reserves hasn't gone unnoticed and it's thought Lazio like the idea of signing him on a free.

Other targets like Cagliari striker Alessandro Matri would cost considerably more, although he does have a record of scoring lots of goals in Serie A.
