The Aquile would like to complete a deal before Euro 2016 according to the report, in case Pelle impresses at the tournament and attracts competition for his signature.

Another reported option for the capital club is Immobile, who has a €15m buyout clause from his loan at Toro.

The Granata are believed to be trying to get a discount on his fee, while Lazio are considering entering the race.

A number of other names have also been linked with the Biancocelesti, including Genoa’s Leonardo Pavoletti, Ajax’s Arkadiusz Milik, Napoli’s Manolo Gabbiadini and Sunderland’s Fabio Borini.
