Lazio are reportedly very close to completing their swoop for Genoa hitman Leonardo Pavoletti.
 
According to Sky Sport Italia, negotiations have stepped up considerably over the last few days, including Friday’s dinner meeting between Presidents Claudio Lotito and Enrico Preziosi.
 
Genoa have made it clear they want a cash only transaction for the centre-forward, who is valued at €6m.

Genoa have made it clear they want a cash only transaction for the centre-forward, who is valued at €6m.
 
The 27-year-old was particularly prolific in the second half of the season, netting 14 goals in 25 Serie A appearances.
 
Many expected him to at least make the 30-man preliminary Italy squad for Euro 2016, but he was left behind.
 
Lazio see the tall striker as the ideal replacement for Miroslav Klose, whose contract expires on June 30.
