The Corriere dello Sport maintains Lazio are very close to a deal for Cissè worth €5m.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta dello Sport suggests the exchange deal with Galatasaray is on the verge of collapse.

It was widely believed that Muslera would join the Turkish club in a straight swap for midfielder Cana.

However, rumours emerging from Turkey claim Lazio wanted Cana plus €2m, a figure that Galatasaray were unwilling to pay.

Instead, the club is turning its focus towards Roma goalkeeper Doni, who is also in negotiations with Liverpool and would be considerably cheaper.
