Lazio have lost Lucas Biglia for two weeks after a thigh strain on international duty for Argentina.
The midfielder has suffered from a series of muscular problems this season and had just rediscovered form when he went off during the World Cup qualifying defeat to Ecuador.
Tests have now confirmed Biglia suffered a Grade I tear to the left thigh muscle and will be out of action for at least two weeks.
He’s likely to therefore miss important Lazio games against Sassuolo, Rosenborg and Torino.
