Marca claims Lazio have approached Villarreal for Congo international striker Cedric Bakambu.
The 24-year-old joined from Turkish side Bursaspor in August for €7.5m and has been a revelation.
He’s scored 17 goals in 39 competitive games for Villarreal this season, including five in nine Europa League matches.
Bakambu also provided four assists for his teammates, catching the eye of Lazio.
Spanish newspaper Marca maintains the Aquile have made an approach for the centre-forward.
