The Spanish forward was not called-up for the trip to Atalanta, with Coach Simone Inzaghi questioning his stated reason of a knee injury.
“I haven’t received any official communication about any action toward our player Keita,” Gianmichele Gentile explained on Radio Olympia.
“At the moment there are no plans for legal action against said player by Lazio. Evidently the incident which has been created could be in the process of resolution.”
The Aquile’s legal department will be busy over the coming months, as action is also being pursued against Marcelo Bielsa after the tactician refused to show up for pre-season.
“We’re waiting for news around the Christmas period. We’ve presented our action in detail, pointing the finger squarely at the Argentinian Coach, given his serious breach of contract.
“We’re waiting for the obligatory translation of the documents from Italian to Spanish and the announcement of the date of the hearing, so that Lazio can make our claim in its relevant context.”
