It’s reported Chelsea made an official offer for Alessio Romagnoli, but Milan made it clear he’s not for sale.

The 21-year-old is seen by many as the future of Italian defending, along with Juventus’ Daniele Rugani, with the pair having a formidable partnership for the Azzurri Under-21s.

Now Sky is reporting that English Premier League side Chelsea submitted an official offer of €35m [£30m] for the Rossoneri centre-back.

Now Sky is reporting that English Premier League side Chelsea submitted an official offer of €35m [£30m] for the Rossoneri centre-back.

However, the Diavolo consider Romagnoli to be unsellable, and immediately rejected the offer from the Stamford Bridge club.

The Blues are known to be looking for a centre-back, and have also been linked with Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Nikola Maksimovic of Torino.
