Reports emerged on Monday morning that Juve were planning one, final push for Keita, but Claudio Lotito reiterated the winger would only leave on his club’s terms.

“The Coach made his decisions based on what the players showed him during the week,” the President said after the Aquile’s Supercoppa victory over the Old Lady.

“If you have a player who trains with determination and, the day before the game, says ‘boss, I don’t feel like playing’, I don’t think a Coach would send him on to the pitch.

“I’ll never interfere with the Coach’s decisions. We haven’t talked to Juve, we haven’t sold him, we received several offers from clubs in Italy and abroad, but the player refused them.

“We’ve already said that we’ll sell the player to any team once they make us an offer that we deem acceptable, not vice versa.”

Lazio value the 22-year-old at €30m, despite his contract expiring next summer.
