Reports from the capital suggest that Lazio are interested in making a move for Sunderland talent Jobe Bellingham in the summer.

The Biancocelesti failed to bring in any reinforcements in the January transfer window, but they were active in the Championship in the closing days of the market, trying to set up deals for Norwich City winger Jonathan Rowe and Plymouth Argyle forward Morgan Whittaker.

Lazio almost managed to get a deal across the line for Fenerbahce’s Ryan Kent, but the Englishman turned down the move at the last minute, leaving the Biancocelesti with no time to find any alternatives.

As reported by Il Messaggero via TMW, Lazo are keeping an eye on Sunderland’s Bellingham ahead of a possible move in the summer, interested in snapping up the talented Englishman, whose older brother Jude is flying high at Real Madrid this season.

The 18-year-old English forward has impressed in the Championship this term, netting five goals and providing one assist in 30 appearances. He won’t be easy to sign, however, as clubs including Madrid and Newcastle United are also interested in a summer deal.

  1. If he is smart, he won’t go to Madrid, not yet.

Newcastle I don’t know. If I’m him and Lazio come, I’d pick sunny Rome and not for the weather. He will be able to play regularly and that’s what he wants.

Lotito go for him coz if he is anything like his brother(and I think he is very much capable of doing the same) you’ve got a treasure on your hand.
