Ambitious capital outfit Lazio have reservations about selling Sergio Floccari this summer.

"He is a fundamental player for us," President Claudio Lotito stated on Wednesday.

"It really would be a problem for us to replace him as we would have to try and sign someone who has the same characteristics."

Floccari's future was placed into doubt after the Biancocelesti signed German international Miroslav Klose.

Palermo have been linked with the forward, while Parma today confirmed their interest in the player.

Floccari's future was placed into doubt after the Biancocelesti signed German international Miroslav Klose.

The 29-year-old was already trailed by the Sicilian club in the summer of 2009 before he left Atalanta for Genoa.

Floccari, born in November 1981, moved to Lazio in January 2010 on a loan deal before being signed outright for €8.5m six months later.

The Italian played in 30 Serie A games in the past campaign, scoring eight goals in the process.
