According to La Provence, skirmishes erupted last night between fans of the two teams.

The visiting supporters are said to have dressed in black, with some carrying sticks and knives, with around 80 fans from each side clashing in front of the Center-Bourse, a commercial area near Canebière and the port.

Police used tear gas to disperse the fighting fans, with three minor injuries, two for Italian men.

A police source said that trouble started after 60-80 Lazio fans had left a hotel and marched toward the Vieux-Port at 22.00, with no arrests made.
