Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi admits his side could go ‘in ritiro’ after their 1-1 draw with Chievo in Serie A on Sunday.

Lazio fell out of Serie A’s top four as their result was coupled with Milan’s 2-1 win against Parma, despite Ciro Immobile’s equaliser in the second half.

“I’ll talk about going in ritiro with the club,” Inzaghi said after the game.

“I didn’t say much at half-time. I changed the formation and was as tough as I needed to be on my players.

“A team who must finish fourth can’t have these two sides, but we’ll take away our reaction from the game. The lads possibly deserved the win in the end.”

A ritiro is essentially a punitive training camp, where the players stay together before and after training in an effort to focus their minds.
