Lazio have confirmed the reports that Ciro Immobile is out of tomorrow night’s Serie A showdown with Juventus.
It kicks off at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin on Sunday at 19.45 GMT.
The striker had made his comeback as a substitute midweek following 25 days out with a thigh strain and had hoped to feature for longer against Juve.
However, he sustained a muscular problem in training and did not even make the trip to Turin with his teammates.
A statement on the club website confirmed Immobile has an issue with his right thigh and will be rested as a precaution.
The forward also acknowledged the setback with a sad face emoji on his Instagram Stories.
