Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio have conceded 20 goals in league games this term, keeping 18 clean sheets, only Barcelona have a better record in Europe’s top five leagues.

The Biancocelesti host Torino at the Stadio Olimpico today and will be looking to extend their winning streak, moving closer to Serie A leaders Napoli who are currently 14 points above their former tactician.

Lazio have the less-beaten defence in Italy’s top flight, with 20 goals conceded in 30 games. Ivan Provedel has kept 18 clean sheets so far this season and only Barcelona have a better defensive record in Europe’s top five leagues this term, as highlighted by Opta.

The La Liga giants have conceded nine goals in 29 games in Spanish’s top flight, keeping 22 clean sheets.

Lazio signed two new centre-backs, Alessio Romagnoli and Nicolò Casale last summer and two new keepers, Provedel and Luis Maximiano.

The Biancocelesti have been eliminated from Europa and Conference League this term, but are Napoli’s closest opponent in Serie A, 14 points below the Partenopei, who visit Juventus at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.
