Newcastle United left-back Achraf Lazaar is coming back to Serie A for Benevento just a year after leaving Palermo.
According to Sportitalia, the deal is done between the two clubs.
It will be a loan with option to buy for €3.5m.
Lazaar only made the move to Newcastle last summer for €2.85m and helped them earn promotion to the Premier League.
The 25-year-old Morocco international also played for Varese.
He is due in Milan – where the Italian football transfer hub is located – to sign the contract tomorrow.
