The Blues have been linked with a move for the Uruguayan, who can play left-midfield or left wing-back.
“I was very pleased to read about Chelsea’s interest in me,” Laxalt confirmed in an interview with Il Secolo XIX.
“Right now though I’m only focused on the Chievo game, believe me there’s no time to talk about anything else.
