However, representative Alejandro Mazzoni has put the record straight in an interview with Radio CRC on Wednesday afternoon.
“This story is a journalistic invention,” he noted. “The Nerazzurri have never contacted me and Napoli haven’t told me that Inter have ever asked for Lavezzi.
“At this moment in time, Lavezzi is not on the transfer market.”
The South American forward is presently tied to the Stadio San Paolo outfit until the summer of 2015.
