The former Napoli wide man has been heavily linked with a San Siro switch this month, but they are believed to face competition from the likes of Juventus and Chelsea.
Agent Alessandro Moggi, an Italian associate of the Argentine’s agent Alejandro Mazzoni, believes that a move could still be on the cards.
“There is some possibility of him arriving at Inter in January,” Moggi said to La Domenica Sportiva.
