Lautaro Martinez knew he “had the make the most of this opportunity” after scoring his first Serie A goal in an Inter jersey.
The 21-year-old Argentine talent found the back of the net with a header on Dalbert’s cross in this evening’s 2-0 victory over Cagliari.
“I am very happy. We had a good game, especially in the first half,” Lautaro told Sky Sport Italia.

“I am very happy. We had a good game, especially in the first half,” Lautaro told Sky Sport Italia.
“After the break we fell away a little, but still went for the goal to secure the result and we found it eventually.”
He had also started against Sassuolo in the opening weekend, but then sat out several weeks and international duty with a calf injury.
“I was really eager to get back on the field and knew I had to make the most of this opportunity. I have set some targets for myself and I am sure that I’ll achieve them.”
