Juventus assistant coach Marco Landucci is at risk of being penalised after the FIGC heard him insult Luciano Spalletti following Napoli’s 1-0 win in Turin.

The Partenopei edged out victory over the Bianconeri thanks to a 90th minute goal from Giacomo Raspadori, a result that allowed Spalletti’s side to move one step closer to their first Scudetto in over three decades.

Things have been a little tense in the Juventus camp, on the other hand. The club’s appeal against their 15-point deduction to CONI was partially successful, but they still risk exclusion from the Champions League, with UEFA carrying out their own parallel investigation.

As detailed by La Stampa, a sentence uttered by Landucci to Spalletti after Napoli’s win over Juventus was heard and recorded by four members of the FIGC Prosecutor’s Office in Turin and could lead to a penalty for the Bianconeri assistant coach.

Landucci was visibly furious by a number of refereeing decisions and took his frustration out on Spalletti. The two were about a metre apart when the Juventus assistant coach said: “Bald b*stard, I’ll eat your heart out.” Spalletti did not react and headed for the Napoli dressing room.

Also noted in the report of the FIGC Prosecutor’s Office was some territorial discrimination aimed at Napoli fans, which could also lead to a punishment.
