“We beat Fiorentina when I was at Roma, I remember that, but it’s another competition now and another team,” Lamela told Tottenham’s official website.

“We are Tottenham and we are a very good team so we need to play in the same way that we have been playing recently and I think we can beat them.

“It will be a difficult game, we know that from last season when we played against them, but we are playing very good football at the moment so we need to keep going like this. We need to do our best to continue playing like a team.

“Of course, we have to win because we want to keep going in the Europa League. It’s important for us to continue in this competition.”
