The businessman has a long-standing interest in football, and is one of the owners of Sparta Prague.
However, as things stand Roma’s American owner Jim Pallotta doesn’t want to sell the club.
The Lupi are still trying to build a new stadium in Tor di Valle, and the club would be worth far more in any potential sale if a state-of-the-art stadium is one of the assets.
Despite numerous delays, Pallotta is still convinced that the stadium can be built, so there will be no imminent sale to Křetínský or anyone else.
