“Transfer speculation linking him with Newcastle is normal,” Bruno Satin admitted, speaking to Radio Crc.

“Transfer speculation linking him with Newcastle is normal,” Bruno Satin admitted, speaking to Radio Crc.
“They’re a club in difficulty, fighting to avoid relegation and he’s at a club challenging for the title. There’s been no discussion with Napoli relating to this.”
Does that mean there’s a contract renewal in prospect for the centre-back?
“There’s no hurry, it’s not an emergency but Napoli want to keep him for the long-term, and settle things before the massive clubs come in.
“We’ve spoken calmly, but the President [Aurelio De Laurentiis] will decide if he wants to offer a renewal to a lad who has improved a lot.
“We have contact with everyone, but he’s not for sale.”
